ACTIVITY THE SOCIETY OF YOUNG SCIENTISTS
TSMU POPULARIZES RESEARCH ACTIVITIES AMONG YOUTH
Recently, for students of Ternopil State Medical University named after I. Gorbachevsky who are interested in scientific activities, the Student Parliament together with the Scientific Society of Students and the Council of Young Scientists organized a meeting with NTS Chairwoman Kateryna Haley and RMC Chairwoman Svitlana Kucher.
Attendees learned about where to start their first steps in science, how to develop their scientific potential, how to write scientific publications.
Kateryna Haley also spoke about the activities of the Scientific Society of Students, its purpose, objectives and achievements.
Young scientists received information about the peculiarities of registration for participation in scientific conferences, forums, congresses in Ukraine and abroad.
Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists Svitlana Kucher spoke about the peculiarities of postgraduate education, admission to graduate school and clinical residency.
SCIENTIFIC YOUTH CENTER OF TSMU ORGANIZED A LITERARY EVENING
Books are good and smart guides. No wonder the best of them are called "eternal companions", because each new generation discovers them and returns to them throughout life, and they again and again help to know the world. Unfortunately, today the book is being replaced by television, computers, and mobile phones. Not so long ago, the work of a famous science fiction writer about how people get rid of books seemed so unreal that it caused a smile. And now many people think that in the modern information society the book is disappearing. As a last resort, they are replaced by the latest gadgets, because in a small tablet you can download an entire library (and even better - digests), and quickly find any information on the Internet.
In order to promote books and reading, members of the Scientific Society of Students and the Council of Young Scientists of Ternopil State Medical University named after I. Gorbachevsky organize events during which they emphasize the importance of printed publications. Medical students do not forget about the importance of acquiring knowledge not only in the medical field of science, but also care about the comprehensive development of everyone. The literary evening, which took place on November 8, was dedicated to spiritual growth and the importance of preserving the moral standards of society. Participants of the event recited excerpts from the works of Ukrainian and world classics, including "Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors" by Mykhailo Kotsyubynsky, fables and parables by Hryhoriy Skovoroda, poetry by Lesya Ukrainka and Lina Kostenko, "The Great Gatsby" by Francis Scott Fitzgerald, "One Hundred Years of Solitude" , "Great Expectations" by Charles Dickens.

Despite the fact that studying takes a lot of time, medical students and young scientists do not forget about the richness and value of both Ukrainian and world literature, because for them books always remain faithful companions and advisers.
STUDENTS AND YOUNG SCIENTISTS OF TSMU COMPETED IN KNOWLEDGE OF HISTORY OF NATIVE HIGHER EDUCATION
The Student Scientific Society together with the Council of Young Scientists of Ternopil State Medical University named after I. Gorbachevsky organized a brain-ring "Milestones in the history of TSMU". The best students and young scientists decided to compete in erudition. The questions of the quiz concerned the historical formation of the university, famous scientists of TSMU and the present university. In a short time it was necessary to quickly give the correct answer.
FOREIGN STUDENTS INVOLVED IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG SCIENCE IN TSMU
Recently, on the initiative of the Student Parliament of Ternopil State Medical University named after I. Gorbachevsky, a training was held for young scientists from among foreign students "Scientific activities to develop the scientific potential of medical students and improve future doctors." The partner of this event was a branch of the European Medical Students ’Association, which includes future doctors of TSMU from different countries.
Kateryna Haley, the head of the Scientific Society of Students of our University, spoke about where to start your first steps in science, how to develop your own scientific potential, how to write scientific publications correctly.
She acquainted in detail with the work of NTS, explained the importance of scientific activity in further professional activities.
"The Scientific Society of Students is always open to cooperation with you. You can contact us at any time - and get help and advice. It is important for us that young science develops at TSMU, so we are always glad to see you, "said Kateryna Haley.
Young scientists from among foreign students received information about the peculiarities of registration for participation in scientific conferences, forums, congresses in Ukraine and abroad.
Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists Svitlana Kucher spoke about the peculiarities of postgraduate education, admission to graduate school and clinical residency.
The main emphasis during the meeting was on the active participation of foreign students in the congress of young scientists, which will soon take place at TSMU.
Young scientists of the university presented the results of their research
Representatives of the Department of Management and Economics of Pharmacy with Drug Technology took part in the organization and presented the results of their research at the VIII scientific-practical conference with international participation "Scientific and technical progress and optimization of technological processes of drugs", held September 23-24, 2020 year.
