Competitions for young scientists
Ternopil National Medical University named after I.Ya. Gorbachevsky Ministry of Health of Ukraine announces a competition of scientific works for the Ivan Gorbachevsky Prize
The award is given to TNMU scientists for the development of the scientific potential of the University, increasing its rating and popularization in Ukraine and abroad.
Works can be submitted in the following areas:
1) achievements in research activities on the problems of theoretical medicine and pharmacy;
2) achievements in research activities on the problems of clinical medicine and dentistry;
3) achievements in research activities on the problems of social sciences and humanities. more
Both one person and a group of people (no more than five) can take part in the competition.
The main indicators for the award are:
1. The results of completed research;
2. Cycles of scientific works published in professional publications of Ukraine and abroad, which are part of the scientometric databases Scopus and Web of Science;
3. Distinctions at all-Ukrainian and international scientific forums;
4. Obtaining and commercialization of patents for inventions;
5. Presentation of their scientific developments abroad.
PROCEDURE FOR SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS FOR THE AWARD
The following documents are submitted to the scientific department of the University by the participants:
the decision of the department (laboratory), drawn up by the protocol on the nomination of the applicant (applicants) for the award;
substantiated presentation, including the title, scientific description of the work and a short annotation (not more than 3 pages);
manuscript of scientific work or published scientific work (series of works);
information about the author (s) of the work (surname, name, patronymic, full date of birth, place of work and position, telephone number and e-mail address for communication).
Competitive selection is carried out in accordance with the Procedure for awarding the Ivan Gorbachevsky Prize at Ternopil National Medical University named after I.Ya. Gorbachev Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
The deadline for submission of materials for participation in the competition is May 15, 2021.
ABOUT THE COMPETITION FOR AWARDING THE PRIZE OF THE VERKHOVNA RADA OF UKRAINE TO YOUNG SCIENTISTS FOR 2021
The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Education, Science and Innovation informs that in accordance with the Regulations on the Verkhovna Rada Prize for Young Scientists (hereinafter - the Prize), approved by the Resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine dated 05.02.2019 № 2675-VIII "On the Verkhovna Rada Prize for Young scientists "began the stage of formation, nomination and submission of works for the Prize for 2021.
According to the Instruction on registration and submission of documents for awarding the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Prize to young scientists and the procedure for their consideration (hereinafter the Instruction), which was developed in accordance with paragraph 2 of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Prize for Young Scientists and approved by the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Education, of Science and Innovation dated December 3, 2019, as amended on January 21, 2021, the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Education, Science and Innovation (hereinafter - the Committee) accepts works for awarding the annual Prizes of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to young scientists.
ABOUT THE COMPETITION FOR A SCHOLARSHIP OF MINISTERS OF UKRAINE FOR YOUNG SCIENTISTS
Conditions and procedure for the competition for scholarships of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for young scientists developed in accordance with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine № 560 of 23.08.1994 "On scholarships of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for young scientists". The distribution of scholarships of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for young scientists is approved by the Presidium of the Committee on State Prizes of Ukraine in the field of science and technology. Competitions are held twice a year - until April 1 and October 1, which is reported no later than three months under the supervision of scientific institutions, organizations and higher education institutions. Summarizing the results of competitions and adopting recommendations for the award of scholarships takes place at meetings of boards of ministries, presidiums of national branch academies of sciences.
Scholarships can be nominated for researchers, research and teaching staff, graduate students, associate professors, doctoral students, other scientists and engineers of scientific institutions, organizations, universities. A prerequisite for obtaining a scholarship is that the applicant has significant scientific results, as well as the opportunity to conduct research. 320 monthly scholarships of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine are awarded for a period of two years.
Nominations for scholarships are made at the place of their main work (study) by scientists (scientific, scientific-technical, technical) councils of scientific institutions, organizations, higher educational institutions of ministries and national branch academies of sciences in the presence of written recommendations of at least two doctors, personally familiar with the scientific achievements and abilities of the young scientist. The decision on nomination is made at a meeting of the council by secret ballot, provided that at least 2/3 of the present members of the council voted for him.
The age of persons nominated for scholarships may not exceed 33 years for persons with higher education not lower than the second (master's) level, and 38 years for persons who have a doctorate or are studying for a doctorate, at the time of their nomination to participate in the competition for scholarships.
